    Copenhagen, Denmark

    Enviable town
A little jovial, a little more cozy and a bit warmer. Copenhagen is the city where we Swedes (almost) always crave.
    - It is the continent, we say, and throws an envious glance over the bridge.
And it's so easy to get here! Stop exercising without the res instantly to the open-faced sandwiches and beer. Red Pølse and Nyhavn. Tivoli and the Stroget. Little Mermaid and the town Christiania. Yes, everything that we know so well. But Copenhagen is so much more - and at each visit, it's like the city unfolds, yet some.
It features ultra-fancy hotels and office interiors boutiques, world-class cuisine. Artists and restaurant dense Kødbyen, colorful Nørrebro and hip Vesterbro. And the aquarium, the blue planet has quickly established itself as families with children new favorite attraction.
Copenhagen's politicians have decided to go green and you roll on two wheels in all variations. Lådcyklar and super fast racing bikes come together at a well-developed network of cycle paths.
So right time. Copenhagen is the year's big city in 2014.
Suitable for: Families with children, weekend lover, who is hooked on Danish design - and anyone who longs to the continent.
Best time to go here: Spring, summer and late autumn of course. This will fill the city's beer gardens and parks. But we northerners can handle the climate even in winter.
How to get there: By car, train, plane. Or bicycle.
Travel time: 25 minutes (by train from Malmö).
    Top tip: Beautiful Louisiana
Denmark's most famous museum of modern art, Louisiana, located in Humlebæk, 35 comfortable kilometers north of Copenhagen. 3000 works included in the permanent collection, moreover, appears new and renowned contemporary art in temporary exhibitions. There is a café overlooking the Sound and delightful museum shop.
